When you request a booking: your name, email address, phone number, the address where your event will be held, your preferred date and time, and how many people are playing.

If you create an account: your email address and a password. Passwords are hashed and managed by our authentication provider — we never see or store your password in readable form. If you tick the marketing box, we record that choice.

When a waiver is signed: the participant's full name, date of birth, email address and phone number; the name and relationship of a parent or guardian where the participant is under 18; and an emergency contact name and phone number.

As proof that a waiver was signed: the IP address and browser user-agent of the device used, the date and time, and the version of the waiver text that was agreed to.

If you use the referral program: your referral code, reward balance and history, and — only if you request a cash payout — your Cash App tag.

Automatically: standard web server and analytics information such as pages visited and general device type.

This is the section most likely to matter to you, so we have written it plainly rather than copying a generic paragraph.

This website is intended for adults. Only someone 18 or older may create an account, request a booking, or sign a waiver here. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children, and we do not ask children to submit anything to us online.

We do, however, hold information about minors — because a parent or guardian gives it to us. Our minimum age to play is 6. When an adult signs a waiver for a child, that waiver contains the child's name and date of birth, and usually an emergency contact. We use that information only to confirm the child is old enough to take part, to know whether a parent must remain on-site (required under 13), to reach someone in an emergency, and to keep a record that a waiver was properly signed.

We do not use a child's information to advertise to them, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with anyone for marketing.

A parent or guardian can ask us what we hold about their child, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — email [NEEDS YOUR INPUT: contact email address]. Please note that where a waiver relates to an event that has already taken place, we may need to retain it as a legal record (see section 7).

To respond to and fulfil booking requests; to work out your travel fee from your event address; to schedule staff and equipment; to confirm age eligibility and waiver status; to contact you or your emergency contact about the event; to take deposits and payments; to run the referral program and pay out rewards; and to send you transactional email such as confirmations, invoices and a copy of your signed waiver.

We also keep signed waivers as a record in case of a later claim or dispute.

We send marketing email only if you have opted in. You can withdraw that at any time (section 9).

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. We do use the following service providers to run the business:

• Supabase — hosts our database and handles account sign-in. Bookings, accounts and waivers are stored there.
• Square — processes invoices, deposits and payments. Card details go directly to Square. We do not receive or store full card numbers.
• Google Maps Platform (Distance Matrix) — when you enter your event address to calculate a travel fee, that address is sent to Google to measure driving distance and time from our base.
• Google Calendar — once a booking is confirmed, the date, time and event details are written to our business calendar.
• Resend — delivers our transactional and marketing email.

We may also disclose information if we are legally required to, or where we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect someone's safety. If the business is ever sold or transferred, customer records may transfer with it.

Consent to use photos or video of a participant is a separate, optional tick box on the waiver. It is not bundled into the liability terms, and declining it does not affect anyone's ability to play.

Where the participant is under 18, only a parent or guardian can give that consent. If you change your mind, email [NEEDS YOUR INPUT: contact email address] — we will stop using the material going forward and make reasonable efforts to remove it, though we cannot always retrieve material that has already been shared or reposted by others.

At public events such as festivals, general filming may take place. If you would prefer not to appear, tell our staff on the day.

Booking and account records are kept for as long as you have an account with us and for a reasonable period afterwards for accounting and tax purposes.

Signed waivers are kept significantly longer. A waiver is the record of an agreement about physical activity, and a claim relating to a minor may be brought long after the event itself. We therefore retain waivers, including those relating to children, for an extended period rather than deleting them at the end of the season.

Marketing preferences are kept until you change them, and an unsubscribe record is kept so that we do not email you again by mistake.

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections, access controls on our admin tools, and reputable hosting and payment providers.

No system is completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise. If we become aware of a breach affecting your information, we will notify you as required by law.

Marketing email: every marketing message has an unsubscribe link, and you can also email us. We will action it promptly and in any case within ten business days.

Access, correction and deletion: email [NEEDS YOUR INPUT: contact email address] and we will help, including on behalf of a child you are the parent or guardian of. North Carolina does not currently have a general consumer data privacy law, and our size means the California and Virginia laws do not apply to us — we offer these choices because they are the right thing to do, not because we are compelled to.

Account closure: ask us and we will close it. Records we are required to keep, such as signed waivers and financial records, will be retained.

We use cookies necessary to keep you signed in and to remember your booking as you move through the steps, plus basic analytics to understand how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, though sign-in and the booking flow may stop working properly.

Our site links to other services, including our payment provider. This policy does not cover them, and we would encourage you to read theirs.

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top, and for significant changes we will tell you by email or a notice on the site.
